Our Story
Woven in Banaras, Worn with Pride
Our story doesn't begin with us - it begins over a century ago, in the narrow, soulful streets of Banaras.It started with my great-grandfather, Mohammed Ismail, who learned the timeless art of weaving Banarasi sarees from his father, famously known as "Mulai Girasth."
With simple beginnings in Lallapura, Varanasi, they weren't just weaving sarees - they were weaving tradition, patience, and pride into every thread.This legacy was carried forward by my grandfather, Haji Abdul Hameed, who took a step ahead by opening a retail store, A.H and Sons.
What was once local craftsmanship began finding its way into more homes, touching more lives.
