About Us

OUR STORY

Five Generations. One Eternal Legacy.

01

A century ago • Lallapura, Banaras

Our story doesn't begin with us - it begins over a century ago, in the narrow, soulful streets of Banaras.

It started with my great-grandfather, Mohammed Ismail, who learned the timeless art of weaving Banarasi sarees from his father, famously known as "Mulai Girasth."

02

A.H and Sons

They weren't just weaving sarees - they were weaving tradition, patience, and pride into every thread.

This legacy was carried forward by my grandfather, Haji Abdul Hameed, who took a step ahead by opening a retail store, A.H and Sons.

What was once local craftsmanship began finding its way into more homes, touching more lives.

03

Neha Sarees Era

Then came my father Haji Rizwan Ahmad, who transformed the journey even further. Through his dedication, the business grew beyond the city, reaching customers across the country under the name

"Neha Sarees." It became a strong business-to-business foundation - built on trust, quality, and years of hard-earned reputation.

04

Covid & Reinvention

During the uncertainty of the Covid lockdown that everything changed. The world paused - and so did our business. With demand dropping to almost zero and weavers struggling to sustain, we faced one of our toughest times. But sometimes, challenges carry the seeds of new beginnings. When the world turned to doorstep deliveries, I saw an opportunity - not just to survive, but to evolve. That's when the idea was born: to bring our handcrafted Banarasi sarees directly to people, bridging tradition with technology. With courage, hope, and a deep sense of responsibility towards our legacy, I started our journey on Instagram.
